About me

My name is Courtney and I'm a recent law school graduate. I was born in Texas but moved to Georgia when I was in middle school. I'm a diehard Baylor Bear (sic 'em). I went to law school in Baltimore because I wanted to try living somewhere new. I studied abroad three times and have always dreamed of seeing every corner of the world.

So what's in a name?

My original lifestyle blog was called soju + ravioli so the name is a play on that. My first study abroad was in Rome, Italy so the ravioli part is a nod to that experience. If you're in college I strongly recommend studying abroad for a semester if possible. It's life changing and worth every penny. I spent two months interning in South Korea after my second year of law school, hence the soju portion of the name. 

My goal here is to share my own faith journey. Even though I was raised Catholic, like most people I went through a time of questioning. Now that I'm older I've settled down and discovered just how important my faith really is. If you want to know more about what lead me to start this blog, check out this post.
